- I am a California Licensed Marriage, Child and Family Therapist. I was born in Ireland, educated in England and USA. I have MS in Organizational Psychology and MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology. I live with my husand of 38 years in Nevada City, CA. I travel to Europe yearly and hike the hills wherever I go. As well as being a therapist to children, adults and families, I write short stories with a therapeutic aim. I write problem centered stories for my child clients. I am currently on a theme of Irish Ghost Stories. Each has a helpful and knowledgeable ghost who appears to bring informative messages at critical times in people’s lives. My first book “The Lissergool Ghost” was published in 2005. You may purchase it from Åmazon.com or from my website http://www.molliesharkey-wilmot.com. My second book was published November 2007, launched in my native village in Ireland and is well recieved there and in the US. It is entitled “The Mysterious Golden Horse.” It is aimed at teenagers and adults. I tell Irish stories at the Celtic Festivals and other musical events. I sell books and CDs at those venues and from my website.
